Welcome to Pivotal Netball Academy

We deliver netball coaching to children between the ages of 4 to 15 years old and cater for all ability and experience levels. Designed to give all children the opportunity to learn to play at a netball club in a fun, nurturing and inclusive environment.

Weekend Classes

Our Saturday classes offer a 55 minute session suitable for Reception to Year 10 children. We place children in small, age-appropriate groups, tailoring content to their needs. The classes are ‘pay as you go’ and run term time, allowing you the flexibility to attend the sessions you want.

School Holidays

Our Holiday Camps run from 10am to 2pm and are suitable for Reception to Year 10 children. Each day can be booked separately and children will take part in three sessions per day:

One: Fun and engaging warm up activities
Two: Skill practice in both competitive and non-competitive scenarios
Three: Game based activities, where skills can be applied to a match or tournament

Masterclass

Our Masterclass events run from 10am to 2pm and are suitable for children from Year 5 to Year 10, of all ability and experience levels. Professional players provide insightful coaching sessions and are amazing role models that inspire our young players.

Birthday Parties

Enjoy a netball themed birthday party or special occasion at a venue of your choice. We create extraordinary moments for groups of up to 24 in a single court sports hall, and larger groups using outdoor facilities. Contact us for more details.

Since starting the academy in 2022, we’ve coached over 300 players, ranging from age 4 to 15 years old, with varying levels of experience from beginners to netball club performers. We’re passionate about providing access to netball and all of the fantastic benefits. Here’s a little bit about some of our amazing young players.

Ruhi

Ruhi enjoyed playing netball for her primary school and was looking for somewhere local to be able to learn more and improve her skills. Since her transition to secondary school, she has grown in her netball confidence and is now part of her new school team and successfully trialled for a local club. She attends the academy when she doesn’t have a match and volunteers with the younger players.

Maisie

Maisie is now in Year 9 and loves the atmosphere the academy provides. She enjoys meeting up with friends, playing netball to keep fit and learning advanced skills, all of which give her confidence when playing for her school team.

Chloe

Chloe has been at the academy since Year 3, having played a little bit of netball in PE lessons. Now in Year 5, her understanding of the game really shows, with a good grasp of the core skills and awareness in the game situation. She is enjoying putting this into practice for her school team and her love of netball has only grown through gaining these skills.

Suri

Suri started at the academy in Reception with little experience, and is now in Year 2. Her enthusiasm and love for learning has seen her netball skills advance quickly. She enjoys making new friends, keeping active and playing the fun games.
